Clifford Rowley

As Cliff Rowley will tell you, his experience with sports began as soon as he could walk. Athletics quickly became an integral part of Cliff’s life and he played just about any and every sport that he could, starting at the young age of three. Cliff’s love of the game even took him around the globe, where he played soccer for the Jersey FC Soccer Club and went to the Netherlands and Germany in 1996. The sports experience was even integrated into Cliff’s college education including his course of study, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from the top Sport Management program in the country, at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in the year 2000.

However, one of Cliff’s greatest achievements was his first post-college job with the one and only, twenty-seven time World Series Champions, the New York Yankees. Cliff began his career with the Yankees in Sponsorship Services, directing corporate sponsorships totaling more than $100 million, initiating marketing campaigns and overseeing advertising, as well as managing the team’s official fan club and creating ticket sale incentive programs. Within just a few years, Cliff moved up into Stadium Operations and was named Assistant Director. This esteemed position enabled him to manage a $30 million budget, supervise recruitment of guest services staff, as well as oversee all functions and the 1,300 personnel involved in stadium events and the entire stadium facility.

After a career which brought him much success and life-long knowledge, Cliff left the Yankees organization in 2006 to pursue his dream of becoming a Collegiate Athletics Director and began this new and challenging career path in NCAA Division 1 College Athletics with Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey. As Assistant Athletics Director in Marketing & Promotions, Cliff was able to oversee all marketing game day operations including tickets, sponsorships, promotions, and entertainment; serve on a multitude of NCAA sponsored boards and university marketing and branding committees; assist in major gifts through corporate sponsorships; manage a 20 sport exclusive Nike team contract; plus serve as both a Sport Supervisor and the Lead Advisor & Director of Monmouth’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee. As if that doesn’t sound like enough to keep him constantly on-the-go, Cliff also earned a Master of Arts degree in Corporate and Public Communication at Monmouth University in 2010.

Cliff’s life-long interest, involvement, and experience in sports led him to create his own company at the age of thirty-two: Uptempo Sports, LLC™. Under this umbrella, Cliff was able to take his entrepreneurial skill and strong business sense to bring forth one simple, yet market-altering idea: the sport specific performance drink® he called U-ADE™.

Cliff’s vision for U-ADE™ is evident in the company’s tagline: Be U. Play-Better.® Knowing what it’s like to be an athlete, what an athlete’s body needs during various sports activities, and that each sport requires different player abilities - he wanted his product to fulfill such needs. He did just that too – U-ADE™ is an all-natural, dye-free sport specific performance drink designed to enhance the athlete within the sport they play. Each U-ADE™ beverage is made up of different ingredients which yield athletic strengths and abilities, almost like the way in which Cliff’s formula for his life - including his many sporting, education, and work experiences - led him on the path to create such a unique product.

Brought forth to the athletic beverage industry, Cliff Rowley’s dream called U-ADE™, is a product which provides natural nourishment to athletes and aids them in achieving the one thing they all want on the field, court, or arena: to simply, Be U. Play-Better.®
